Sr Kerry Zooms
Last week our infants classes were treated to a very special guest during their Zoom meetings.
Sr Kerry Gardiner joined with Kindergarten and Year 1 for a storytelling session, where she shared a story about Jesus feeding the 5000.
Year 2 were treated to an informative talk about St Joseph. It was so lovely to see the children participate in these sessions with such reverence.
We are so very fortunate to have Sr Kerry continuing to work closely with our school community even during this time of remote learning.
We look forward to having Sr Kerry join us for future sessions throughout the term.
St Pius X Feast Day
This weekend we celebrate St Pius X Feast Day on Saturday 21st August. Pope Pius X is perhaps best remembered for his encouragement of the frequent reception of Holy Communion, especially by children.
As a school we will be our patron saint by celebrating via a virtual liturgy and week long activities.
You may like to mark this special feast day on Saturday by saying our school prayer as a family.
