Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful families for your unwavering support of our school community throughout the year. 2021 has certainly presented the education sector with many challenges. However, the strength of the relationship between home and school has certainly assisted with a significant period of remote learning, followed by strict restrictions.

In reflection we have achieved a great deal and I would like to highlight some of our noteworthy achievements:

• Installation of our wonderful Adventure Playground space.
• The addition of an ASPECT satellite class to our school in 2022.
• A re-imagined Vision Statement, reflecting our dynamic and contemporary Catholic School.
• Outstanding NAPLAN results, with St Pius X dominating the higher bands in all aspects of literacy and numeracy.
• St Pius X was the highest enrolling Catholic Primary school in our Diocese.
• Finalist and winner of the prestigious Christmas Art competition “Bishop’s Choice Award”.
• 15% of our students had their work Published in the SPLICED program, (Stretching Potential of learning in interactive and challenging environments).
