Staff Development Day 

The staff will be participating in a STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY on FRIDAY 25th SEPTEMBER, centered around SPIRITUALITY.

Therefore the last day of Term 3 for students will be on Thursday 24th September.

Book Week 
Book of The Year
Just a reminder that the students are invited to write a book for our 'Book of the Year' competition and add illustrations if necessary.
They will be judged by independent judges who will be looking for a creative story, and correct grammar and punctuation. The students can present their book in whatever format they wish including digital books.
Entries close on Friday 18th September (Week 9)
This competition is not compulsory but is an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents.
There will be a prize awarded per grade and silver and gold awards for the overall infants and primary winners.

More information on our Book Week activities will be provided at a later date.

If you have any educational or behavioural concerns please contact your child’s classroom teacher in the first instance. Your child’s classroom teacher will also make contact with you if they have any concerns.

Classes across the school have Middle Leaders and if you have ongoing concerns or unresolved issues please make contact with your Stage Leader.

Please note

  • Phone contact is the preferred method for urgent messages.
  • Staff emails may be used and we will endeavour to answer emails in a 24 hour time period.
  • Emails will be answered in Office Hours from 8am to 4p.m

 

Sunscreen

Children will be encouraged before break times to apply Woolworths Everyday SPF 50 sunscreen. The expectation is that children self-apply, unless special circumstances apply that would lead to consent being given for teachers to do this. 

We ask that you contact your child’s classroom teacher, if your child has an allergy to sunscreen or you do not wish them to use the sunscreen provided.

Medallion Assembly

Please note that students who are receiving a Medallion will be acknowledged in Term 4 at a Special Assembly on Friday 4th December at 9.00am.

Given COVID restrictions, more details will follow closer to the date.
