ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL NEWS
As we come to the final newsletter for 2022, I take this opportunity to reflect on the year that was. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of a whole school community that prides itself on a strong partnership between home and school. Getting to know the children and families over the year has been a highlight for me and I look forward to spending 2023 and beyond with you.
I wish you all a safe and Holy festive season.
Go Gently,
Mrs Christine Nunes
P and F news
At the recent P and F meeting the results of the parent survey around school fundraising for 2023 were presented.
In 2023 63% of families voted to pay a P and F levy as the main fundraising. This will be reviewed each year and any fundraising throughout the year will be focused on our chosen charity work.
All processes follow P and F diocesan guidelines.
Year 6 Jamberoo
Last week Year 6 spent the day at Jamberoo Recreation Park. It was a fun filled day with our Year 6 students representing our school in such a beautiful, responsible way. The children spent the day enjoying the water rides such as the perfect storm, the wave pool and the many slides.
By the end of the day we had some very tired Year 6 students who all agreed had created amazing memories together.
