FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
The St Pius X election day “Sausage Sizzle” has become a firm favourite in the school calendar. This day is a wonderful way to showcase our fantastic school and sense of community. I wish to thank Jane Brejniak (Parents and Friends President) for her amazing work in coordinating this event. Jane, and the whole executive worked tirelessly to ensure the day was a success. Also, to the many volunteers, the gift of your time was much appreciated.
I was particularly impressed to see our Year Six leaders, taking time away from their Saturday schedules to assist. This demonstrates tremendous school spirit and support for our community. A big thank you to Natasha Pope, Madison Perry, Izabel Brejniak and Jake Tarlinton for the leadership you showed on Saturday. You looked wonderful in your Year Six shirts!
As we journey towards the Great Week in our Church, it has been a gift to have Sr Kerry speaking to the classes and offering her knowledge and wisdom. I look forward to the dramatisation of Holy Week presented by the students on Thursday 6th April at 1.30pm. Parents and friends are most welcome to attend.
I also look forward to ending our term with our very first Easter Hat Parade. The students have had a remarkable focus on learning this term and this event will be a great way to celebrate a term of learning and faith. The parade will commence at 10.15am with a picnic lunch to follow and all are welcome.
The Parents and Friends will also have a BBQ on this day, with sausages for sale.
Canteen Kat also has a picnic pack deal and lunch items on offer. These can be ordered using the usual procedures.
Yours Sincerely,
Pauline Chrostowski - Principal
