Da Vinci Decathlon

The Da Vinci Decathlon is an academic competition designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of school students. Recently, sixteen of our Stage 3 students took part in the decathlon hosted at Illawarra Christian School. This year, St Pius X students competed with several schools in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven areas. All students competed in teams of eight across 10 disciplines: engineering, Mathematics, code-breaking, art and poetry, Science, English, ideation, creative producers, cartography, and legacy. Our Year 5 team achieved second place in Creative Producers. 
Our wonderful St Pius X students are to be congratulated on their efforts in the lead-up to the competition and on the day, where they demonstrated enthusiasm, resilience, creativity and tenacity.

We need volunteers to help in the hall for the distribution of Hot Chocolates.

Year 6 will be hosting an INFLATABLE WORLD PARTY on Friday 21st JULY. 
All funds raised from this event will go towards the Year 6 end of year gift to the school.
