Return and Earn

At the end of Term 1, Year 3 and Mrs Hertsch sorted through our Return and Earn bin to get it ready to take to the St Vincent De Paul warehouse. Mrs Staples dropped the bottles and poppers off this week and we raised $25.40 which we deposited as a donation for St Vincent De Paul. 
This money assists in Vinnies' delivery of social justice programmes. All funds raised go directly to helping Vinnies run their local accommodation and support services, such as counselling and case management for vulnerable and disadvantaged people.
 
Thank you for your support St Pius!! Every 10c counts! If you wish to contribute to this wonderful initiative you can send your recyclable 10c items to school with your children and these can go into our blue Return and Earn bin. Alternatively you can take your bottles to their recycling facility in Unanderra and let them know that it is a donation. Let our school know if you do this so we can thank you and your children in the school Newsletter!!
