SPOTLIGHT ON LEARNING
STAGE THREE
It has been a busy start to the term for our Stage 3 students.
Year 6 led our school community beautifully through our ANZAC commemoration liturgy on the very first day back to school.
On the 1st of May, Year 5 were invited to assist the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong to collect important assessment data by participating in a trial of the digital Religious Literacy Assessment for 2023.
The information gained from this trial assessment will inform the final product of the assessment which will be used for all Year 4 students across the Diocese of Wollongong.
Year 6 have been busy learning about all things multiplication and division.
Students have shared their learnings with their peers by making informative videos outlining the process required to complete a variety of algorithms – be sure to ask your child if they could share their learning with you!
Term 2 will see all of our Stage 3 students begin on their writing journey to create exciting and engaging narratives.
Introductory learnings are taking place within the first few weeks, with no doubt exciting things to come as students engage with rich texts and literary devices.
