SPOTLIGHT ON LEARNING
KINDERGARTEN
Kindergarten have been learning to tell the time using analog and digital clocks. They are learning to describe the position of the hour and minute hand on analog clocks when reading time to the hour.
YEAR TWO
Year 2 has been very busy creating a hybrid text on Seals. This hybrid text contains a story about a Seal, plus information about Seals in general. Students wrote their own story and information text, typed it up and published their work into their very own book.
YEAR ONE
In Year 1 we have been learning about measurement in Mathematics. We learnt how to measure the area of our foot prints!In Creative Arts, we have been learning about the Russian artist Wassily Kandinski and have enjoyed creating bright patterned artworks with concentric circles.
