Just a reminder re the SPX book week event this Friday.
Can you please let your class teacher know if you are coming/not coming so we can pre-warn students.

St Pius X Book week, 9.30am to 11.30am
- 9.30am start onsite
- Picnic lunch onsite, hotdog meal deal – please do by Wednesday 23rd of August via canteen app
As per newsletter : Students are invited to dress as their favourite book character on this day or alternatively dress to reflect the Children's Book Council of Australia 2023 theme of "Read, Grow, Inspire." We do not expect people to go to a great deal of expense, with some simple ideas being:
- a "reading" gardener
- a character from your costume box at home
- Jack and The Beanstalk
- or wear something green, like a ‘green thumb’ in the garden
