Next Thursday evening, 16 of our Year Six students will receive
the Sacrament of Confirmation within our Parish.

This beautiful Sacrament occurs at a time when children start to be seen as
adult members of the Church. They are now old enough to
renew and confirm vows that were made on their behalf, when
they were baptised.

Please keep in your prayers our candidates,
as they prepare for this significant step in their faith journey.

Last night it was lovely to connect with our parent body at our
termly Parents and Friends Meeting. Parental engagement has
always been of vital importance for our community and this is a
wonderful way for parents to meet formally and regularly with
school staff.
At this meeting our school Vision was endorsed by the parent
community. This Vision speaks of our core work at St Pius X of
enhancing the faith life of students, ensuring well-being is at the
forefront of all we do and striving for personal excellence for our
students.
