Athletics Carnival

The day started well with all students participating at their level of ability in all the track and field events. Thank you to the parents and grandparents who assisted on the day to make it run smoothly. What a shame the weather turned and stopped us from finishing some of the events. Please read compass events for updates on when these missed events will be completed.

We will be holding a 200m race event on Wednesday June 26/6 from 12.45pm for participants ages 8-12. Ages will be heading to the oval one group at a time to compete. This is not a compulsory event. 

Once all events are complete we can hold a ribbon ceremony and name the SPX team to go to the South Coast Athletics 13th August, at Beaton Park.  

Netball Gala Day

Netball Gala Day is next Tuesday. Students from Stage 2 and 3 will be participating. We wish them all the best for the day and hope their day is full of good sportsmanship and fun.

We are looking for a couple more team managers so if you can assist please let Mrs Hertsch know.
