Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of Term 2, I want to take a moment to thank you for the continued support and partnership you’ve shown throughout the term. It has been a wonderful few months of learning, growth and shared moments of faith and community. 

A reminder that this Friday is a pupil-free day, and I hope the upcoming school holidays offer your family a chance to rest, reconnect, and recharge. May this be a safe and peaceful break for you all. As we look ahead to Term 3, I pray that we return refreshed and ready to continue our journey together—learning, growing, and walking in faith.

Parent–Teacher Interviews

This week, despite the very wet weather and persistent rain, our Parent–Teacher Interviews were held. These conversations are a vital part of your child’s learning journey—providing an opportunity to reflect on progress, celebrate achievements, and work together to support your child’s learning, wellbeing and faith formation.

We’re incredibly grateful to our dedicated teachers who prepared thoroughly for each interview, ensuring they could share thoughtful insights into your child’s progress. Their time, care and commitment to each student’s growth were evident in the way they took time to connect meaningfully with families.

A huge thank you also to our families who made time to attend, many navigating the added challenge of the weather. We especially appreciate your flexibility and understanding as some face-to-face interviews were moved to phone meetings to prioritise the safety of our school community. These moments reflect the strong home–school partnerships we strive for, in line with the CEDoW Parent Partnership Framework, which emphasises respectful, collaborative engagement for the benefit of all learners.

School Photos

Thank you for your understanding following the decision to postpone school photos last week as a result of the extremely high winds and the power outage. We have been able to secure a new date for our school photos - Monday 4th August 2025 - Week 3, Term 3. Students are to wear their full Winter school uniform and their presentation should be reflective of the St Pius X School Uniform Policy. Please do not send children in their sports uniform.

COMPLETED ENVELOPES ARE TO BE KEPT AND HANDED DIRECTLY TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER ON THE NEW PHOTO DAY.  

You do NOT need to re-order student or sibling photos.
