Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful families for your unwavering support of our school community throughout the year. 2021 has certainly presented the education sector with many challenges. However, the strength of the relationship between home and school has certainly assisted with a significant period of remote learning, followed by strict restrictions.
In reflection we have achieved a great deal and I would like to highlight some of our noteworthy achievements:
- Installation of our wonderful Adventure Playground space.
- The addition of an ASPECT satellite class to our school in 2022.
- A re-imagined Vision Statement, reflecting our dynamic and contemporary Catholic School.
- Outstanding NAPLAN results, with St Pius X dominating the higher bands in all aspects of literacy and numeracy.
- St Pius X was the highest enrolling Catholic Primary school in our Diocese.
- Finalist and winner of the prestigious Christmas Art competition “Bishop’s Choice Award”.
- 15% of our students had their work Published in the SPLICED program, (Stretching Potential of learning in interactive and challenging environments).
My wish for you all is a peace filled Christmas with abundant blessings. I look forward to welcoming you back in the new school year.
Yours Sincerely,
Pauline Chrostowski - Principal

Thank You Danielle Chapman
There are a only a few people we come across in our lifetime who are part of a community and make such a huge impact on all of those around them.
Mrs Danielle Chapman is certainly one of these people.
Danielle, your passion and energy are unparalleled, and I respect your spirit of volunteerism immensely.
We are so very grateful to have had your help and leadership here at St Pius X. Thank you for being so selfless with us and for so many, in whose lives you make a tangible difference.
You always keep the students and their families at the centre of everything you do. The fundraisers, special food days, charity appeals and many, many more events you have organised and supported hold a special place in the memories of our students. Your time here will be cherished for many years to come.
We wish you all the very best and know that we will see you here next year in a different capacity but as the same you.
